    Learn how to cook. The way you poured form one pan to the other was laughable. If you use enough sauce you don't need to cook the past ahead of time. You are also suppose to use cold sauce not hot. You don't need to cook the sauce for an hour and a half. Idiot.

    The reason steaks are ok to be cooked rare, is because the bacteria and other harmful substances are on the beef’s surface (unlike chicken and pork, which can have issues within the meat). Since the surface of the steak is cooked over 150 degrees, all harmful substances are killed off. So, whether or not you grind your beef at home or pick it up at a store does not matter. You are still mixing the surface meat into the rest of the ground beef. This means that all that bacteria, among other things, is living safely inside of the patty that you just cooked rare.

    Instead of trying to get the noodles just right in boiling water, I have found it easier to just lay the noodles out in a big aluminum pan and fill it with the hottest water out of the tap. In 20-30 minutes the noodles will be the perfect tenderness for assembly. edit: Also, go halfsies ricotta and cottage cheese.
